Our second dog:
Charly!
A lovely, funky "ball of wool"!
Charly will be in the future a silver colored poodle.
But the color is needing many month. At first they all are black and become then brighter!
That is Charlys mummy, a repeated excellent distinguished dog, which worried affectionately about its new generation.
Charly and its brothers and sisters were allowed to grow up in the herd with mother Alice, aunt Elfi and granny. His father is a price-crowned male dog from the Netherlands.
That was not important for us , we only wanted a lovely, healthy partner for our Pepi!
That poodle shall look like in such a way , like here, is only a mandatory must, if someone wants to go with them on exhibitions, because the judges attach so large value to the appearance.
And if someone wants to breed properly, then it needs - unfortunately, or thank God! Depending upon opinion! It is good that there are conditions for breeding and necessary CHECKS for the health - that assures a high measure of quality - but whether the hair-style must belong to them. - there the spirit separates! We think rather no, because hair regenerates. - a hereditary disease or a type of nature is more important. We will be limited with the maintenance of Charly to brushes, washing and necessary shearing.Pepi of course did not participate in the first visit to the puppies. Finally these were not inoculated in this moment, and any other dog was a risk.
But the fun was also large. Each puppy only want that we play with him.
And to look who comes there! We had only the one selection, since from the two male puppies one was already assigned. That was o.k.! Nevertheless it would be very heavily to prefer one of them.
However we wanted a boy! The decision was fast pleases and soon we found also the name "Charly" .Finally all person should detect directly in such a way his name that it is a merry, dear dog.

Nomen est omen! How know it!
At this time Charly was six weeks old and we visited him always again, so that the time up to the delivery passed faster. When Charly was then inoculated and had his tattoo and the breed-manager found everything in order, we could take him in the age of nine weeks with home. (11.2.2002)
The first common month!
Our Pepi run to the puppy totally joyful and looked only once amazed!What`s this?
A small something, which pressed himself as naturally to him and did in such a way, as if they know each other! What is it?
Fortunately Pepi is an extremely good-natured dog and give permits that Charly snuggles himself to him and sleeps with him.
Like that acclimatizing was not a large thing.
Pepi still believes the fact that he does not need such a young bundle at his side necessarily but now applies it to him to resign itself.
The first nights slept my husband on the sofa around all time to be able, if conflicts should develop. But after few nights already it became clear that Charly used this as an opportunity at night to want to play and that is going too far!
There was daily so much new to learn now. First Charly had to accept collar and the line. Then he had to learn to run a few levels up and down .
Also there are giving so many other dogs in the environment,and balloon drivers making amusing noises, a brook with the possibility to fall into water and much more besides.
There is already a security, if one has a large "brother" beside itself, who radiates peace and leaving! (if for it the reasons is almost blindness and far deafness ).
Only cleanliness will be desired still something. But the Charly learns probably also soon.
Only unfortunate that the "madam" forbids consistently all, what makes fun! So it is not desired if Charly is jumping in the face of Pepi, tearing hair bundles out of the ears, bite in bags, eat horse excrement and another so fine things!
It always means then OUT! or PFUI!
But that even makes real fun by the fact that nevertheless sometimes succeeds!
In the meantime Charly is naturally inoculated and may play outside on meadows , which makes natural at most fun, if still different dogs participate. Is however somewhat else unknown and afraid for him, then he comes immediately, in order to feel himself shure behind its people.

Buggies and children are most unknown! Simply he does not know them ! Whether he will ever become acquainted with them?
Such many young mothers have a big panic arbout their children, if they see a dog approaching from far only.
I understand that they want to protect their children, but it is not nevertheless each dog dangerously and attack already.
That is a problems both pages concerns. Children should learn to be fair with animals, and animals should have the contact to children because they may be otherwise be refused without any reason. Even dogs learn such a wrong behavior.
They think then that from children a danger for the dogs proceeds and this can be a defense behavior and thus to an attack.
It would be beautiful, if the mothers would take up verbal the contact to the dog owner. Then they could decide for each individual case, whether it makes sense, to leave child and dog to each other!
