Completely simply! One visits an acquaintance, which has an old aunt needing care, who have a "bird"! You speak and play with the animal and with much luck you may feed and stroke him after short time Some days later the aunt died, and the Senegal parrot named Cocco remained. When now the question arose, who will life with the animal, I was immediately ready to take him with home. I knew about the love of my husband for parrots and was sure that he does not have anything against him. Said - done!

When we arrived at home, Cocco was the star with my three men at home! A half hour later Cocco was a pure "man bird" and I could not even more into his proximity dare myself! He bit immediately! After some days of the adjustment Cocco decided to be only and excluding the bird from Ralph and that it until today remained!
Cocco got medicin, so that he acclimatized himself more easily and no longer so aggressively on all other reacted. So far without considerable success, since it is situated in the nature of the parrots,to lead a marriage with one partner. We are convinced that Cocco lived the last 17 years under the false sex. It is probable a "Coccoline" and looked for a man! We speak nevertheless further in the "male form" of him! In the meantime Cocco moved into a much larger parrot cage with nature branches and many climbing possibilities. He has also an old breeding crate, whose input hole it increased on its mass and whose cover he can open or close as desired. Nevertheless Cocco behaves like an awake dog! During the day once if a man should enter the house, then he scream and scream and scream! Then he cry so loudly and for a long time, until the man is away again. Otherwise he lures me with various tones only to bring me so far to him, believing that I may stroke him. With the smallest attempt he bites immediately .

In the evening, if Ralph comes home, smooch time is announced. Then he must out of the cage, sits on the shoulder from my husband and enjoys all liberties. Then they cook together and they eat together. Main thing I remain on distance! The ruffle in the evening, he cheeps like a little cat. With his leg he shows completely accurately where he like to be stroked.

On the desk no glasses or bottles may be! Why the bird reacts so aggressively to bottles, we do not know! Anyhow he spread the wings, lowers like a bull the heading and runs against the bottles on. Since he possesses sufficiently strength, he can knock out them easy, which led occasionally to a big mess.
A great hobby of Cocco is it to put down glasses! That is not because he would be thirsty - no - it pleases him, if the glass fall down noisy and shatter. Then the day is saved!
